Kids are moody. They might want one thing to play with and the very next moment they might find interest in something else. They are messy and need all their toys scattered on the floor. This cluttering requires great effort by the parents when it comes to it cleaning up.
Here are some tips for adding storage to your kids room that are fast and easy: Buy and use a closet organizer for added space and to make it easy for your child to keep his or her clothing put away. Some come with shelves or drawers and others have two poles for hanging up clothing.
Do you have a lot of stuff that you need placed somewhere besides on your floor for a short time? Then a portable storage container is just what you need. If you plan on renovating in your house one of these storage containers is something you can really use. If you empty the contents of one room then you are going to have to put those contents somewhere. If you have no where to put them you will likely place all this stuff on the floor or anywhere else you can set it.
Try periodically rotating the toys and books on view, so your child has “new” toys and books to explore. Labeling bins and shelves with photos or drawings of the contents helps your child locate things quickly and put them back in the right place. Color-code containers – red for toys, green for games, blue for art supplies – to create an orderly look, and encourage easy cleanup.
