Use stackable drawers to keep their toys in. These are great because they are inexpensive and can be stacked in a corner leaving the middle of the floor open and clear of clutter. Wicker baskets and hope chests are great for storing stuff animals or toys.
You can put all your belongings securely into the portable storage container and the company will come and take the container to your new house. Then you can unpack your stuff whenever you want and at your own pace. That sure beats renting a moving truck now does not it? So as you can see containers can be really handy during those times when you are moving or when remodeling your current house. The container can surely help make life easier.

You can have one kind of toy per box. Like, one box for building blocks; one box for toy cars and one box for art supplies. This way, your kids can just grab one and play.
